Creating a Story

Creating a Story on CauseCircle works the same way on the website and mobile app.

When you click + Post, you can choose from three Story formats:

• Text-Only Story - Share a written update, testimonial, reflection, or story without media.
• Photo/Video Story - Upload photos or videos that show your nonprofit’s activities, events, people, or impact. You can include up to 5 photos or videos per post.
• Shared Link Story - Share a link to an article, webpage, resource, or other relevant content and add your own context.

To create a Story:

1. Go to Home and click + Post.
2. Choose the Story format you want to create: Text-Only Story, Photo/Video Story, or Shared Link Story.
3. Add your content.
4. Add a title and description to give your Story context.
5. Select the nonprofit you want to submit the Story to.
6. Submit your Story for review.

Once approved by a nonprofit Admin, the Story will appear on the nonprofit’s profile and in followers’ Home Feed.

For Nonprofit Admins

If you are a nonprofit Admin, you can create a Story using the same process on both web and mobile.

When posting, you can choose to publish:

• As yourself, using your personal CauseCircle profile, or
• As your nonprofit, so the Story appears as being posted by the organization.

If the Story requires approval, make sure it is approved before it can appear publicly on your nonprofit profile.
