As a volunteer for the Nourish the Planet, Feed the Future campaign, I’ve come to realize something powerful: hunger and environmental destruction are not separate issues—they’re deeply connected. That’s why I’m so proud to support this incredible partnership between Amazon Watch and the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank through CauseCircle. Each week, I help pack and distribute fresh, nutritious food to families in San Diego. Every time I see a child smile after receiving a bag of fruits and vegetables, I’m reminded that food is more than sustenance—it’s a right. But ensuring everyone has access to food doesn’t stop at distribution. It starts at the source—with our ecosystems.
