Andrea & Toby's First Solo Circus Performance

Last year’s Neighborhood Tour was a milestone for two longtime Fern Street Circus performers, Andrea and Toby, as they took the spotlight with their first solo show.
Andrea began her circus journey in first grade, while Toby joined during the pandemic in middle school. Both have grown in skill, confidence, and leadership, with a shared passion for tightwire performance.
For the first time, they created and performed a duo act entirely on their own—a true reflection of their dedication, creativity, and years of hard work. Their performance embodies the impact Fern Street Circus strives for: fostering artistic growth, community connection, and personal development from childhood into young adulthood.
Today, Toby continues his high school studies while Andrea prepares to train as a medical assistant. We are so proud of their accomplishments and can’t wait to see what’s next on their journeys.

Fern Street Circus Reconnects Families for 2025-2026 School Year

Welcoming Families Back to Fern Street Circus As the 2025–2026 school year begins, Fern Street Circus remains committed to building strong connections with families. We believe engaged parents help children thrive—and together, we grow a stronger community. This year, we continue offering parent workshops, activities in the Family Services Parent Room, and time in our outdoor garden—creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for reflection, learning, and connection. While summer brings a natural pause, we’re excited to reconnect and expand access so even more families can experience the creativity and joy of the circus. Here’s to a new year of growth, together.

Fern Street Circus Youth Perform Macbeth on October 30, 2025

    Fern Street Circus
    Presents Shakespeare's Macbeth

Over the past several weeks, our core group of youth performers has been rehearsing intensively every Tuesday and Thursday, dedicating themselves not only to learning the scenes and lines of Macbeth, but also to understanding and embodying their characters in their own distinctively way.

This performance will also mark a significant milestone: the first time the students will perform in the Fern Street Circus space itself. This space has become more than just a rehearsal area—it has grown into a second home, a place where the youth have built confidence, found safety, and cultivated a strong sense of belonging.

Come celebrate the hard work, talent, and creativity of our incredible young performers as they take the stage in a one-of-a-kind circus and theater production. You won’t want to miss this exciting community event!
    Dress Rehearsal: October 29, 2025 at 4:30pm
    Show: October 30, 2025 at 6pm
    Location: Fern Street Circus
