About Bayside Community Center

Bayside Community Center (formerly Bayside Settlement House) is a neighborhood‑based nonprofit serving Linda Vista since 1932. It offers comprehensive services—including emergency food distribution, ESL and computer classes, senior programs, youth services, environmental learning through community gardening, small business support, and advocacy—to empower a diverse community with education, health, and resources.

Our mission is to empower our diverse community to improve its quality of life through services, education, and advocacy. We believe that everyone, regardless of background, income, or education, should have access to broad social, cultural, and educational opportunities that empower and enrich their lives.
