I am deeply grateful for the CCA of WA Scholarship!
The CCA of WA Scholarship relieved me greatly of financial pressure so I could focus more of my mind and energy on the studies while pursuing my education. It gave me the opportunity to complete my BA in Early Childhood Education, which resonates with me in my passion for working with young children. I look forward to the last quarter’s study in the spring and I want to, and will finish it strong. I hope my BA in Early Childhood Education will brdg me with other ECE professionals to be active advocates in making differences in the learning and development of young children. A few things that I learned from the past year was to set up a goal, focus, and work hard towards my goal, and to always be grateful and think positively no matter what the situation might be.

Creating a story for child care aware!

The Early Achievers process has been a great opportunity for our program. With the help, guidance and trainings that have been offered by our coach, we were able to see the much-needed transformations in our classroom environments. It has helped our program tremendously and is noticed by the parents, and most importantly, the children in our care.

Information sessions and access to additional resources provide invaluable support, helping us better understand children’s emotional development and address any concerns we may have.
I highly recommend these services to any early education program looking for a comprehensive care environment for children.

Los Colores Day Care

I’ve been able to implement my education into the classroom and with my other teachers and mentor them. The courses I enjoyed the most were the more practical, hands-on focused classes. Having the scholarship has allowed me to have that journey and it wouldn’t be possible without it.
