Michael J. Sohmer, an experienced clinical pharmacist with over four decades of diverse clinical practice, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Throughout his career, Michael has been deeply involved in clinical work, care planning, and medication management. Michael’s commitment extends to disaster response and humanitarian efforts, having served as Chief Pharmacist for the San Diego County Metropolitan Medical Strike Team and currently as Deputy Commander for DMAT San Diego CA-4. Notably, he led a medical team to Nepal following the 2015 earthquake, providing critical care to over 500 injured individuals in remote villages. He recently returned from 3 months in Nepal to do medical needs assessments in remote villages of Nepal.
